The farm could not exist without the help and support of friends, family, neighbors, and complete strangers. We have been humbled by the number of generous individuals and groups wiling to donate their time and talents to help us establish and expand the farm. We want the farm to be a place where anyone interested can take part in what we do. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or a blank slate, the farm is place where people of all ages and backgrounds can get their hands dirty We hope to see you soon.
We reserve a unique role for those who have and are willing to commit* more time to help the farm. As a Regular Volunteer, we work together to organize a regular and consistent** schedule for you to come contribute and learn on the farm. This gives you the opportunity to be more deeply involved in and further experience a wider variety of farming tasks.
*Commitment is preferably at least once per week
**Minimum of 4 consecutive/semi-consecutive volunteer dates
We facilitate and organize times for larger groups to come help out on the farm. Volunteer Groups can turn week-long undertakings into single day projects. Farming is meant to be social and should be enjoyable and enriching for all who come participate. It’s a great way to get involved in, learn about, and support agriculture in our communities and city. Please RSVP at least 2 weeks in advance so that we can plan ahead for you.
